Before that, over a hundred representatives of various groups and organizations including the Hindu Mahasabha, Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh,Jamiat-ul-Ulema & refugees put their signatures to a seven point declaration in Hindi covering the conditions laid down by Gandhiji who had assembled at Rajendra Prasad’s residence, called on Gandhiji at 11.30 a.m. On January 18, Gandhi ended his final fast covering 6-days by taking Orange juice from Maulana Azad.
